I'm glad that we like jamming because we we had a SERIOUS Jam Sesh this weekend! After receiving tons of orders, thanks again guys, we had some catching up to do!
We started our Jam Sesh Saturday with some homemade biscuits.. Because, well, you just can't Jam on an empty stomach.....
And then we dove right in! We had orders to fill - -
-Drunken Monkey Jam (Banana+Rum Jam)
-Nutty Monkey Jam (DMJ+PB)
-Homemade Peanut Butter
-You Put da Caramel in da Coconut (Coconut+Caramel Dessert Jam)
-Razzy Gabby & a Side of Jalapeño (Raspberry+Jalapeño Jelly)
Have you ever drained, cracked, and peeled a coconut? We had to pull out the heavy hardware for this one..
By the end of the weekend we filled 60 jars!!! It was a mixture of hard work, some love and silliness, and a lot of jamming :)
Good thing we had our 23 Quart Pressure Canner!!!
We took a break to deliver our jam to a brunch party nearby. It was the perfect mix of Friends, Food, and JAM! Everyone loved the Jam so much that we will be hosting a Jam Pairing Brunch next week.. every course will be paired with a Jam Stand Jam, but more on that in the next post!
