DRUNKEN ELVIS FRENCH TOAST

INGREDIENT LIST

1 JAR OF DRUNKEN MONKEY JAM

• 3 EGGS

• 1 CUP MILK

• PINCH OF SALT

• 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON

• 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR

• 1 LOAF BRIOCHE OR CHALLAH (SLICED)

• BUTTER

• PEANUT BUTTER

• ½ POUND BACON

• 1 BANANA (SLICED)

• POWDERED SUGAR OR SYRUP FOR SERVING (OPTIONAL)

STEPS

1 • Pre-heat the oven 350 degrees fahrenheit.

2 • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.

3 • One by one, dip bread slices in mixture and let soak for at least 1 minute. For best result, let soak overnight.

4 • Melt butter on medium heat.

5 • Add bread slices and fry until browned, 2 minuted per side.

6 • In a baking sheet, layer half of the fried bread.

7 • Top with peanut butter and Drunken Monkey Jam and cover with remaining bread. 

8 • Bake for 10 minutes.

9 • Fry bacon over medium heat and chop into pieces.

10 • Remove baked french toast from the oven and top with bacon and banana slices. Enjoy!
