INGREDIENT LIST

3/4 CUP BUTTER (SOFTENED)

• 2/3 CUP SUGAR

• 1 TEASPOON VANILLA

• 1 EGG

• 1 3/4 CUP FLOUR

• 1/2 TEASPOON SALT

• 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER

1 JAR STRAWBERRY JAM

STEPS

1 • Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

2 • In a mixer, combine butter and sugar. Add vanilla and egg, making sure to scrape down the sides.

3 • In a separate bowl, incorporate flour, salt, and baking powder. Slowly add dry mixture into the wet mixture until well combined.

4 • Chill dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.

5 • Flour rolling pin and a hard flat surface. Roll out your dough. Use the heart cookie cutter to create heart shapes (optional).

6 • Using your thumb, make imprints of smaller hearts in the center. Fill these imprints with Strawberry Jam.

7 • Bake for 15 minutes.
